Casditol Acid

Acid Neutralizer,Sequestrant,Dispersant

Acid Neutralizer and Sequestrant-Dispersant for scouring and bleaching of cotton, nylon/spandex, and their blends. Free of acetic acid and other volatile weak acids, preventing the formation of salts such as sodium acetate that yellow the fiber.

Properties

Facilitates the removal of metal and hardness ions in a substoichiometric ratio, meaning small amounts of CASDITOL ACID sequester large quantities of ions present in water, cotton, pipes, and/or electrolytes
Hydrolytically stable at acidic and strongly alkaline pHs.
Neutralizes alkalinity deep within the fiber
After peroxide bleaching, enables the neutralization of caustic soda and the elimination of peroxide with TERMINOX Ultra in a single step, ensuring the absence of metal ions and hardness before dyeing
Minimizes subsequent yellowing of Nylon/spandex blends when applied as an auxiliary in the final rinse after bleaching.
